Back to normal life

It's back to the daily grind, and I suppose it's about time. Phil went off to work this morning for the first time in a long while (since before we got married in June and before he came to Texas in May). He found some work on a kiwi orchard where he used to work a few years ago. I was sad to see him go, but so proud of him. I helped him pack his lunch and gather his work things.

There's a silly girlish part of me that wants us to stay in dreamland forever, but it's back to work for Phil and back to looking for work for me.

On another note, I desperately need a haircut. I keep finding splint ends everywhere and my bangs (er... fringe?) are driving me nuts! I think I'll attempt to give myself a little trim. Fingers crossed!
