Goodbye to a Great Moustache

This weekend we said goodbye to Phil's moustache. He started growing the moustache in early March shortly after he proposed. It was the only other time I had seen his (nearly) clean shaven face. I asked him to grow the moustache for the wedding and it had been growing out ever since.

He asked me to snap a few photos to document the occasion.

I love love his moustache. It looks incredible and he sports it so well.

But even without the moustache he is oh so handsome. And look! He has an upper lip!

I've decided that he looks more awesome with a moustache but looks more handsome without it. Either way, I've scored.

P.S. - He's growing out a beard soon. Just to warn you, it's going to be epic.

  1. At least he can grow a moustache! (Chrome tells me that is not how it's spelled. A regional thing?) My fiance is sorely lacking in the facial hair department and that's a shame because when it's done right, it's sooo nice. :)

Phil looks great with or without a 'stache. I'm glad you'll be documenting the epic beard.

  2. @Elizabeth, Okay so I've looked it up and you're right! "Mustache" is the American spelling and "moustache" is the English/French spelling, but seeing as I'm a red-blooded American as you'll ever meet... and I've always spelled it "moustache", I'm clearly confused. hehe

I'm looking forward to the beard too! The first time I ever met him he was growing a gorgeous red beard. What can I say? I'm a sucker for a good beard.

  5. Hello - you have a very pretty blog! That was a seriously awesome mustache! My husband has a beard and I won't let him shave it off. I think it's a very special thing to be able to grow one!
