Baby vdW: Labor Update

Photo on 2011-06-13 at 14.38 #2

My waters broke at 3:30 AM and we have been laboring for over 12 hours now. My contractions have slowed down a bit but have increased in intensity. In all likelyhood, we'll be meeting our little one tonight!

Please keep us in your prayers!

xoxo

  2. I've been reading your blog for some time now, but i'm not sure I've ever cmmented. If ever there was a time to comment, it is definitely now : ) This is very, very exciting news!
I'm not the praying type, but am definitely sending happy, and healthy, labouring vibes to you all. Giving birth is one of the hardest things a woman does, but it can also be the most magical and empowering. We were made to birth, afterall.
And, well, you get a baby out of it! Nothing is better than the first 'meet and greet' hours with a newborn. xx

  10. Talia dear,
The strong line of your thumb in that picture tells me that you are determined and brave. Kia kaha, be strong! Breathe deep and know that you are loved and supported! See you on the other side

    With love from wobbly Canterbury,
