Breakfast: Homemade porridge with sultanas and maple syrup.
Dinner: Lasagna. Dessert: Plain yogurt with apricot jam.
Mealtimes are no joke around here. Meals are enjoyed thoroughly, then wiped into hair, behind ears, and all over the face. I think it's mandatory actually.

For those wondering: We have opted to go the baby-led weaning route from the get-go. Audrey feeds herself. She eats whatever we eat and we have mealtimes together as a family. She will try anything and there's nothing she doesn't like. Although sometimes she's slower to eat potatoes. But she still eats them. She'll even eat spicy food, indian curries, and mexican food. No texture is too weird for her. She's very adventurous. Also, her favorite snack is homemade hummus with bell pepper sticks. SO CUTE!
That is all.
Hehehe! What a cutie! At least oats are good for the skin ;)
ReplyDeleteGoodness, with all that mess I'd be doing it naked and hosing them off afterwards!
Sophie, we usually do! And she almost ALWAYS has a bath after dinner. But that morning it was too cold to be naked and eating porridge. As you do.

Oh how gorgeous! I like that she gets to be nakey - straight into the bath!
ReplyDeleteAmy x
Too cute! She looks like such a happy little possum!
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous with those long lashes! I don't think I've ever seen such 'honest' photos of baby led weaning before! Looks like fun (our lab would be a baby slave) :)
ReplyDeleteThose are such great photos!! What a cute little stinker!
ReplyDeletehaha I thought as much (BLW) when I saw the photos! so very gorgeous. but I am guessing more than one bath a day..!! ha x
ReplyDeleteOh, she looks cute.
ReplyDeleteBut i am glad, i don't have to clean up afterwards :)
she is so cute! don't you love baby-led weaning? we've really loved it and F eats everything! love the messy pictures! xo victoria
ReplyDeleteIs Audrey wearing a necklace while eating lasagne? Classy!!!
ReplyDeleteI like how she's fully enjoying the experience of dinner with all her senses! Hehe. Such a cutie!
ReplyDeleteWe want to do baby led weaning with Felix too... so I made sure to buy a high chair that will be easy to hose off outside! It seems messier than spoon feeding but I like how they can try bits of real food and they are control of what they eat :)
