It was the event I was looking forward to the most. And the alarm didn't go off. We jumped out of bed and grabbed some warm things to put on the baby. I put on jeans and gumboots, but pretty much went in my pajamas. Phil made me a warm cup of tea to take with us and we were off. We were only a little late.
And it was so worth it.
Dreej really really likes my tea. Don't worry though. It's non-caffeinated.
The balloons were pretty cool too. I hope to ride in a hot air balloon one day.

We're such nerds. I'll admit it. We got Audrey the brown hoodie before she was born so the baby could match Phil.
DeleteMy hoodie is grey, but Phil has a second brown one that I borrow sometimes. I love our matching style though!

Those photos are absolutely gorgeous! You've captured the much sought after "golden hour" shots in such a lovely way. A hot air balloon ride is definitely one of my life list items. ;)
