I've been making some slow and steady progress on spinning up this merino and silk for the baby. I'm really liking the way it's turning out!

Have you been working on any special projects lately? I've usually always got a few projects going.

  3. Yes, beautiful colour, Talia! You are so very talented.

I've been teaching myself to knit (& crochet unsuccessfully...) over the past few months & have finally struck up the courage to knit a few gifts for some friends. Everything is still a little rough & uneven in a place or two, but I'm loving the challenge & stretching myself.

  4. That color! Stunning. I've been trying to make it to the store and buy some more yarn to knit a few things for our baby before he arrives. Nesting, I think they call it? ;)

  8. The yarn is so fine and so so even, you are clever. Must feel amazing working with silk and merino - is it any harder to work than all wool? I imagine silk is a little sticky - well I suppose that depends on the way its been treated and the length of the filament - anyhooooo it looks delicious :)
