Yes, beautiful colour, Talia! You are so very talented.
I've been teaching myself to knit (& crochet unsuccessfully...) over the past few months & have finally struck up the courage to knit a few gifts for some friends. Everything is still a little rough & uneven in a place or two, but I'm loving the challenge & stretching myself.
That color! Stunning. I've been trying to make it to the store and buy some more yarn to knit a few things for our baby before he arrives. Nesting, I think they call it? ;)
Wow I am so amazed that you know how to spin! I don't even know how to knit and I would really love to know how to even begin! And there you are spinning your own yarn!
The yarn is so fine and so so even, you are clever. Must feel amazing working with silk and merino - is it any harder to work than all wool? I imagine silk is a little sticky - well I suppose that depends on the way its been treated and the length of the filament - anyhooooo it looks delicious :)
It is SUCH a beautiful colour.
ReplyDeleteThat colour is stunning! I would love to learn to spin yarn.
