What I Wore: Pretty In Pink

LOVE THIS TOP! It's so flowy and flattering. I feel really feminine in this blushing shade of rose. Next time I'll pair it with a black and white print and some tall pink heels for a bolder look. So versatile!

What Mama Wore

Yesterday the Mister and I traveled up to Auckland to see Sufjan Stevens perform live. I've long been a fan of Sufjan but have not had the chance to see him play until yesterday. It was incredible. The visual and musical performance was amazing! He played a stunning set of his new songs as well as some gorgeous renditions of his old songs. If you ever have the chance to see him on tour, go for it! You won't be disappointed.

This is what I wore to the concert.




I wore a simple blue dress with a vintage inspired print.
The knee-length dress was nice and cool for the summer evening and the high waist line fit nicely over my ever-growing baby bump. While this is not a maternity dress the waistline is perfect for before and after the Bean. The empire waistline is a must-have in this mama's pregnancy wardrobe.



Now that the belly is getting bigger and I am looking more obviously pregnant I am finding it a little bit easier to find things to wear. I am looking more pregnant and less like I ate too many nachos. Mmmm I could really go for some nachos right now.

What I Wore: Little Blue Dress

I am going to start a few series on the blog where I share my favorites with you. In this series, What I Wore, I'll share a few of my daily outfits and tell you where I found the pieces to put the outfit together.




Today I'm wearing my favorite blue dress. I started hunting for a blue dress after watching 500 Days of Summer and falling in love with Summer's predominately blue wardrobe.



I wanted something casual and feminine and solid so that it could easily be matched with different accessories or leggings in cooler weather. I was able to find exactly what I was looking for!

Confession: I also found the exact same dress in brown and I got that one too. I love love love it!
