Big News

So you may have (or may not have? haha) noticed that I've been away from this space for... almost 2 months.

Ack!

It wasn't my intention to take a blogging break but so it happened. If you follow me on twitter you'll know that I've been dealing with some health issues and needed to take a much needed rest.

The good news is that I'm feeling much better these days! I'm feeling almost 'normal' again and it's amazing to feel like myself again.

The better news is that we're having another baby! YEOW!

We could NOT be any more excited about adding a new baby to our family. We've repeatedly told Audrey that "there is a tiiiiny baby inside Mama's tummy". She looks at us suspiciously, then lifts up my shirt to inspect the situation, then scoffingly decides that, "Na! Na..." there's clearly no baby there, guys. But I assure you there IS! And baby is due a mere 5 days after Audrey's 2nd birthday.

Bring it on.

Baby vdW: Labor Update

My waters broke at 3:30 AM and we have been laboring for over 12 hours now. My contractions have slowed down a bit but have increased in intensity. In all likelyhood, we'll be meeting our little one tonight!
