Oh my

FACT: I've seen more rainbows in New Zealand than anywhere else I've been.

On the way to work I saw the most gorgeous gorgeous double rainbow I've ever seen. It was a full arch over the sky where I could see both ends. The brighter of the two was the brightest rainbow I've ever seen!

I'm still amazed.

Rainy Days

Rainy days are not really good for:

-Hanging the laundry to dry
-Sitting outside
-Going for a run

Rainy days are good for:

-Sipping tea
-Staying cozy
-Reading a good book

We seem to have quite a few rainy days here in New Zealand, but secretly I don't mind. I kind of like the sense of coziness the clouds bring. I like how green it makes everything. I am in a rainy paradise. (really)

This afternoon, I've been spending my time sipping on a cup of tea, editing a few photos, and listening to Bon Iver. I'm all wrapped up in my scarf and warm booties. I can't complain about the rain. It's a pretty lovely day, really.

Weekend is here!

Happy Weekend!!


With soooo many exciting things JUST around the corner I can barely focus on anything! I am in la-la land. I am on the edge of my seat! I can't even see straight.

This weekend I am looking forward to:

Seeing my friends and celebrating!

A little sleeping in
Flipping the countdown a few pages
The rain
