Our mission? To make the perfect little baby moccasins.
Remember the two huge grocery bags of scrap leather we bought last year?
Well, we're finally working up the prototypes for our first moccasins! I'm so excited! Phil drafted up the pattern while I sewed away at the machine and together we worked out the kinks in the pattern and are coming up with a million ideas for the little shoes.
Here's a sneak peek at what we are working up!
The first prototypes are drafted into patterns, then sewn in denim to see what it will look like. After that we go back to the pattern and make any tweaks so we can make that perfect little shoe.
We plan on having a little line of baby moccasins in different colors and sizes with a couple variations on the styles too. I can't wait to share more soon! Stay tuned.

ReplyDeleteSuper sweet mocs! I came across your blog while becoming addicted to Pinterest. Your Once Upon A Time photo frame was pinned by someone. You are now responsible for re-inspiring the crafter that has been hidden in me for a little too long. Thanks!
