Yesterday, I got the best package in the mail from my sweetheart. I forgot he was sending something and it was the nicest surprise!
I got:
-The loveliest letter. I might have had a tear or two because it was so sweet. -Some lovely polaroid photos. I love you, instant photos! -A tapestry he made for me. Yes! He IS that awesome! -A countdown for when he comes to see me! I loooove count downs and was SO excited when it came. He even put a few extra pages on there so I could have a few to rip off when I got it! So thoughtful. So AWESOME!
LOVE!!

An update on the doilies I dyed with coffee. They turned out great!
I've been a busy little bee lately and I haven't even made a dent in my to-do list! I have a million ducks to get in a row for the big day.
That's a lot of ducks.
To keep myself motivated and to keep from forgetting anything, I found a giant dry-erase board to keep me company:
So cute!
I've already crossed a few things off and I'm so pleased! List, just so you know, you will not conquer me.

DIY weddings are a lot of fun and a lot of work! I'm planning vintage/tea theme for the centerpieces. I'm in love with tea parties!!

To go along with the tea pot themed center pieces I found some white doilies. A bit too white if you ask me. I want to try and stain them with coffee to give them an aged look.
I've been known from time to time to day dream--I can't help it. I'm a day dreamer. When it comes to my hobbies, I'm also a do'er. Right now I'm constantly dreaming of gardening and working in a garden. I've got the almost undeniable urge to run outside and get my hands dirty in the soil. I want to plant something and tend to it and watch it grow. Gardening can be so beautiful and so satisfying. For me it's like trying to watch a pot of water bring to a boil. I run outside first thing everyday to see new growth. I can't help it! It's so exciting!
So call it what you will. Call it crazy, but I'm dying to garden right now. Blame it on the nice weather. Blame it on day dreaming. Blame it on spring.
I won't be able to manage a garden this year but that doesn't mean I can't plan and dream for next year!
